Holoflite dryers and screw dryers are highly efficient for indirect drying, meaning the product does not come into direct contact with the heating medium. In Holoflite systems, the material passes through a jacketed, hollow screw conveyor filled with heating fluid. Heat transfers through the screw flights and outer jacket, drying the product as it is gently conveyed through the system. Screw dryers operate similarly but may be single- or twin-screw designs, with varying pitch and geometry tailored for specific materials.
