Unit has a tubular rotor with hollow discs mounted on the rotor to allow heating/cooling media to flow through the rotor. The shaft is mounted on outboard bearings, rotary joint on one end, packing glands. Chain and sprocket drive with a gear reducer and 25 HP 3/60/230/460 volt motor. 15 RPM shaft speed.
The residence time is adjustable by and overflow weir at the discharge end.
