(Two SPDU's) product contact, complete Short path distillation plant. This unit was previously used to process 300 lbs/day of product. The system consists of two, 0.1 m2 short path distillation units, three cold traps, six hold up receivers, and a degassing column with a pre heater. All equipment is piped and mounted in a steel framework, including all pumps, vacuum pumps, heater, valves, and controls. This process system has the following attributes: Can operate up to 340 degrees C, It is capable of vacuum to 0.01 mbar. , has a short resonance time, is good for heat sensitive products and hazardous materials, is suitable for viscous products, and has an excellent turn down capacity. Product contact surfaces are finished to 0.62 um RA The process piping and hold up tank are jacketed. The cold traps feature double coils for hot and cold brine. The system includes all process pumps and vacuum pumps. Primary and secondary heaters are supplied by Sterling. Chillers are supplied by Micro Therm.
