This is a complete system with the spray dryer and bag house mounted out doors. Feed related equipment is mounted indoors on a skid.
Dryer details are as follows: Supply air; 1385 acfm. Natural gas; 27.9 acfm. Feed; 1725 lbs/hr. Product 525 lbs/hr. Evaporation rate 1200 lbs./hr. Process gas inlet temp. = 1100 degrees F. Bag house is manufactured from 321 SS, rated for 400 degrees F, with an air volume of 1850 scfm,

Both have level sight glasses and N2 purge line with regulator and Liquid make up valves. • Falling film evaporator with mechanical vapor recompression, part of a Zero Discharge System (ZLD). The Evaporator includes the following major components: the evaporator, a circulation pump, a compressor, the deaereator, a distillate system, the feed heaters, and associated pumps. Each evaporator shares a common feed tank and seeding system.
• This evaporation system was previously used in a Zero Discharge System by a major Utility company. It was designed and engineered by Bechtel, and utilizes a seed-slurry process to maintain heat transfer tubes in a scale controlled manner. The process has been maintained in excellent shape.
