This dryer has external knockers designed to keep the product flowing freely in the feed end. This dryer features a hot air heating system designed to be heated by steam. The steam chest is rated for 256000 BTU/Hr., and has been hydro tested to insure no leakage occurs in the coils. This rotary dryer driven is chain driven by a manually variable speed drive and features a 2.0 HP 3/60/230/460V 1750 rpm motor through an overhauled gear reducer. Other recent work performed is a new seal on the discharge end, Inlet seal has been cleaned, lapped and fitted, all new lubrication lines to the tires,(auto lubricators) and the knockers have been tested and lubricated.
